An instructor who has good mental strength is important because the even when the triathlete is facing difficult times, he or she can count on the instructor for support. This is because they have a more knowledge than one who has coached very few people. Though this might be an expensive venture, it might be worth it at the end depending on the dedication you give it.

The certification does not necessarily indicate the strength of this trainee as a person but having some educational background shows that they have some knowledge about the sport.

However, there are coaches who provide group or club coaching. Although they charge high, a group of triathletes can pull together the amount of money required to hire the best coach.
